The old interface still shows#

• Reconnect. Players who were connected during the restart can keep the old interface until they rejoin.
• Restart the resource. Run ensure ox_inventory in the server console, or restart the server.
• Check the folder name. The downloaded folder must be named web and sit directly inside ox_inventory. A folder inside a folder, such as ox_inventory/web/web, is not picked up.
• Check the built files. ox_inventory/web/build must contain index.html and an assets folder with index.js and index.css. If they are missing, see Build the interface.
• Check for an update. If you updated ox_inventory after installing, its own interface replaced the redesign. See Updating ox_inventory.

The inventory does not open#

Look at the server console and the F8 console for errors from ox_inventory.

• An error that mentions a missing file under web/build means the interface is not built or was not uploaded. See Build the interface.
• Errors after an ox_inventory update usually mean the versions no longer match. The redesign is tested against 2.47.9; check yours in Dependencies.

To confirm the problem is with the interface, restore the web folder you backed up and restart. If the inventory still fails, the cause is elsewhere in your ox_inventory setup.

An item's slot is blank#

The item has no image. Add a PNG named after the item to ox_inventory/web/images. See Item images.

If your own images disappeared after installing, they were in the web folder you replaced. Copy them from your backup's images folder.

Some items still have the old artwork#

That is expected. 133 of the 197 bundled images are redrawn so far; the rest keep their original artwork for now.

The build fails#

• Use Node.js 18 or later. Check with node --version.
• Install with npm install --legacy-peer-deps. Without that option the install can stop on a dependency conflict.
• Run the commands inside the web folder, not inside ox_inventory.

My colour changes do not appear#

Changes to src/index.scss take effect only after npm run build, a resource restart, and a reconnect. See Customise the look.

The text looks different from the screenshots#

The interface uses the Inter font when the player has it, and Segoe UI or Arial otherwise. See Font.
