The download is a web folder. It replaces the web folder inside your existing ox_inventory. Nothing else in ox_inventory changes, so your data folder, items, shops and stashes are untouched.
1. Back up your web folder
Copy ox_inventory/web somewhere safe. To go back to the original look later, restore this copy.
2. Replace the folder
Delete your server's ox_inventory/web folder, or rename it to web_old. Put the downloaded folder in its place, named web:
ox_inventory/
├── fxmanifest.lua
├── ...
└── web/ <- the downloaded folder
├── build/
├── images/
├── src/
└── package.json3. Copy your own item images
If you added your own item images, copy them from your backup's images folder into the new images folder. The redesign loads images the same way ox_inventory always has.
If you had replaced one of the default images with your own, copying it across replaces the redesigned artwork for that item.
4. Build the interface, if needed
Skip this step if the folder contains build/index.html. The interface is already built.
If it is missing, build it on your own computer. This needs Node.js 18 or later:
npm install --legacy-peer-deps
npm run buildThe build writes build/index.html, build/assets/index.js and build/assets/index.css. These are the files ox_inventory's fxmanifest.lua already points at, so the manifest needs no changes.
5. Restart
Run this in the server console, or restart the server:
ensure ox_inventoryPlayers who are already connected may need to reconnect to see the new interface.
6. Check that it worked
Join the server and open your inventory. You should see the dark full-screen backdrop and the glass panels.
If the old interface still appears, see Troubleshooting.
Uploading to a live server
The game server only needs the built files and the images. If you prefer not to upload the whole folder, these are enough:
ox_inventory/web/build/index.html
ox_inventory/web/build/assets/index.js
ox_inventory/web/build/assets/index.css
ox_inventory/web/images/*.png
