# Dependencies

Everything your server needs before installing Wolfden Rich Presence.

## Framework compatibility

Wolfden Rich Presence detects your framework on start, checking Qbox, then QBCore, then ESX. If none is running, it uses standalone mode.

In standalone mode there is no character or job information, so `{char_name}` shows the player's FiveM name and `{job}` shows its fallback text.

## Optional resources

| [ox_lib](https://github.com/overextended/ox_lib) | Nicer notifications for the `/refreshmugshot` command. Without it, messages appear in chat. |
| illenium-appearance, qb-clothing or esx_skin | Instant photo updates when a player saves their look. Other clothing scripts are still picked up by the automatic check. |

## Accounts you will need

- **A Discord application.** It is free and takes a couple of minutes. See [Discord application](#/docs/wd_richpresence/discord-app).
- **Somewhere to store character photos:** a free [Fivemanage](https://fivemanage.com) account, or your own domain with a reverse proxy for self-hosting. See [Image hosting](#/docs/wd_richpresence/image-hosting).

Without an image host, the resource still works and shows your logo instead of a character photo.

## What players need

Players must use the **Discord desktop app** with *User Settings → Activity Privacy → Share your detected activities* turned on. Discord in a web browser cannot show Rich Presence from FiveM.
