What is new in Wolfden Rich Presence.

## Version 1.1.0

Released 22 September 2026. Upgrading from 1.0.0 needs [one database change](#/docs/wd_richpresence/upgrading).

### Added

- **Self-hosted photos.** Store character photos on your own server and serve them from your own domain, with no third-party account. See [Image hosting](#/docs/wd_richpresence/image-hosting).
- **Location switch** (`Config.Presence.ShowLocation`), off by default. While it is off, street and zone are never sent to Discord, and messages that use them are skipped.
- **Clearer startup messages.** The server console now says exactly why photos are unavailable, such as a missing API key or a missing `PublicUrl`.

### Changed

- The presence now updates every 15 seconds instead of 60, and messages rotate every 10 seconds instead of 15.
- Failed uploads now show the host's own error message, not only a status code.
- Upload handling moved to a helper file included with the resource. Nothing to install.

### Removed

- **Discord webhook hosting.** Discord's Rich Presence image proxy strips the signature these links need, so webhook photos always showed as a **?**. Use Fivemanage or self-hosting instead.

### Fixed

- The server could restart in a loop while serving a self-hosted photo.
- Uploads failed with a `400` error because the photo was sent incorrectly.
- Messages rotated too early when the rotation interval was longer than the refresh interval.
